January 10, 2011 "Winter Warmth!"

What another wonderful day it was, once again here in South Florida! The skies were bright blue with a scattering of clouds and the temperature was spectacular! The birds were out in numbers today, but alligators were not so easy to find although my guests were visited by couple of them out on the airboat ride.

Of course, as always, the opportunity was presented to those who wanted it, for them to hold our little friend "Buster". Buster is a farm raised alligator, about 4 years old and 3.5 feet long that can be, under most circumstances, held and admired up close.

There was a time when placing a strap around his jaws was not necessary. However, now that he has grown and gotten stronger, we always secure those powerful jaws so a mishap is avoided!

I want to thank the folks who joined me today and I hope you had a good time. Thanks for returning to Everglades Adventure and being such good customers to Good Time Charters!

Don't forget to check out those other blogs on the Swamp Cabbage Festival and the Swamp Buggy Races! And join us there next time around!

For now, Gator D must prepare himself for his next adventure behind the wheel of the Good Time Charters Tour Boat for the Sunset Cruise tonight.

Goodnight all!
