March 7, 2011 "Exploring the Glades with Friends!"

It's hard going on a Everglades Adventure with 11 crazy folks from all over the world, including Indiana, Ohio, North Dakota and England, without getting totally exhausted! However, somehow I endured even though I could hardly get a word in edgewise because they were so talkative!

Seriously, this was about as perfect of a day as we can get here in south Florida. Man what weather! It was a nice 79 degree day with a small breeze and no chance of rain. We made all the pickups early and headed down to the glades for our adventure after a brief stop at McDonalds.

We then began our trek to discover the wonders of the Everglades. We saw birds, alligators, turtles, raccoons, and as many plant species as one could possible imagine.

No one got lost today! No one got bit by an exotic creature! And the traffic was not grossly bad. Oh well, what can I say!
