The Everglades never gets old to me! Today, I spent the day with four magnificent folks wanting to experience the nature of Southwest Florida, and I felt privileged to be the one to introduce them to it with the help of my good friend Chris.
We had perfect weather and perfect company. We saw alligators in the Cypress Dome Swamps, and a lot of hawks and other species of birds. The glades is very dry right now and soon the rains will come and totally change the things we will see here.
Spring has arrived because the Bald Cypress Trees have new leaves growing on them and they are so green and bright!
We didn't see any snakes (well a dead one) but we DID see a River Otter today and tons and tons of gators on the Turner River.
All in all it was a super fantastic day!
I hope you folks enjoyed it and feel that you got your moneys worth! If you would like to help others interested in such a journey with their decision to join us at Everglades Adventure, please log onto the "Trip Advisor - Everglades Adventure" on the right side of this blog and share some comments about your day! It is a great tool for people looking to enhance their vacations and your opinion is greatly appreciated.
Gator D has to prepare for yet another adventure so I will bid you FAREWELL and ADIOS! See You Later ALLIGATOR!
(P.S. You guys come back in the rainy season and see the difference a journey at that time of year can make!)
