March 15, 2011 "Ahhhh SPRING TIME!"

What a wonderful day in the Everglades! Our adventure was enhanced by this wonderful spring weather we are having. I am so happy about our winter this year. Last year about took its toll on us but this year has been as perfect as it could be.

I had a van full today and what fun they were. We saw a ton of gators (well several tons of them!) and lots of birds and stuff. After a full day of history, plants, animals, people, places, and fun stuff I am sure everyone was tired by the time they got back to their homes.

The Bald Cypress trees are in full recovery from their "bald" state and the green leaves are popping out all over the place. There are a lot of things in bloom and of course the pollen count is rather high right now so if any of you wake up with allergies this morning you will know why!

Thank you all for joining me for this adventure today. It was very fun for me for sure and I hope you will remember the Everglades and its diversity and beauty for a long time to come. If you happen to begin to forget about it, come join us for another Everglades Adventure sometime in the future!
