This has been a wonderful week and the weather has been spectacular! I am so happy I am a part of an environment that "lacks" snow and ice! I could NOT handle that for sure. I feel sorry for those of you who do not enjoy these things and have to endure them. However, from what I have learned about you folks from up north is that you DO enjoy it. I applaud you for that. I guess skiiing and snowboarding and snowmobiles have their ambiance. I CANNOT understand ICE FISHING! Geeze! I do NOT like cold, ice, snow!
In fact, last year when we had such bad weather, I had to borrow SOCKS from my mother-in-law! Go figure. She had tube socks. I sure did need them.
Well, once again, I had a great day in the Everglades and it was my crew that made it that way for me. I hope you all enjoyed your journey and I thank you for your questions and interest in the 'glades.
I am never sure how "deep" people really want to delve into this wilderness beyond alligators and swamps. However, today, I felt like you did share an interest.
Share the day with others through the pics on the blog and please feel free to comment on "Trip Advisor" to help others make an educated decision on how they would like to spend their vacation time here in Southwest Florida.
Have a safe journey home and remember our little part of the world as you reminisce about it in the future!
I've also added a picture from my sunset cruise tonight, just as a fitting ending to a great day!!!
Gator D is headed to bed so I can get my beauty rest! I am headed back to the glades tomorrow, but this time on a Swamp Buggy tour!
