March 9, 2012 "Rain? What Rain?"

Well, the day started out beautiful and remained that way throughout our journey during this full day Everglades Adventure, EXCEPT for the only time that rain could really dampen the trip and that was during our AIRBOAT RIDE! Yep, the timing could not have been better!

We did our swamp buggy ride, saw the smallest Post Office in America, stopped by the interactive animal exhibit and played with alligators, snakes, scorpions and birds, took a guided nature drive down the Turner River and saw loads of birds and alligators in the wild, had a great lunch at Everglades City, visited the Museum of the Everglades for a quick educational experience and then on to the airboat ride! All in the dry weather!

We got 13 people out on three different boats and concidering the boat captains had all been delayed by previous rain, it was great to get our folks out on the boats without delay. However, only one came in with dry people! The other two got soaked! Oh well, what can I say! Its the BEST EVERGLADES ADVENTURE! The Everglades cannot exist without rain so let's just say my guests today got TOTALLY IMMERSED in the Everglades Adventure!

I want to thank all of you who joined me today for being good troops and making it a very enjoyable trip. It was my pleasure meeting with you all and sharing this day. I hope you enjoy the pics and share them with others. You were a blast!

Check out the links on the side of the blog for "Trip Advisor - Everglades Adventure" and make a few comments on your day with us so others may use it to make their decision as to whether our trip is worth their effort!

Gator D is getting ready for yet another adventure so I am going to bid you farewell and say SEE YOU LATER ALLIGATOR!
