Big thanks goes out to John, his daughter Danielle, his son John and to "Freddy" our friend from Cologne, Germany, for joining us today at Everglades Adventure!
It was a wonderful day in the wilderness and we were blessed with many birds including egrets, herons, roseate spoonbills, alligators, and just plain old good nature!
The Everglades is spectacular all year long but during these cooler times the birds really come out in groves and today all throughout the day we saw a ton of them in all of their glory. It was excellent to see them jump up in front of us during our journey, especially during out airboat ride.
The sunshine was bright today and we could see all of the details of the mangroves as we coasted slowly through them on the airboat.
What a great day and some great photos and videos of the crew.
I wish you all a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and once again thank you for making this day special! Good luck Danielle and John in your studies and to you dad (John) with the college bills! And Freddy, I hope to see you at the Holiday Inn on Christmas night!
Gator D is heading back to the Everglades today so I better sign off for now!
