June 2, 2011 "Ahhhhhh Day in the Glades!"

What a spectacular day in the Everglades! We had such wonderful weather, cooperation from the wildlife and lot's of fun!

We spent time on "safari" driving through the bumpy, dusty, dirty roads of the glades seeking all kinds of wonderful creatures and boy did we see them! Especially gators! Gators by the dozens! And to top that off we explored deep into the mangroves to fine a momma and her babys! The first time ANY of my folks got off the boat and walked in the roots of the mangroves! YAY!

I am off to the glades again this morning but wanted to push these to you so you can start enjoying!
