Once again I had some repeat customers from Ireland join me for yet another adventure! William and Samantha had joined me earlier this month for a Everglades Adventure (they were with me last year about this time also) and their adventurous souls created a need to dig even deeper into our Southwest Florida adventures.
We spent about two and a half hours exploring the mangrove isles of Hell Peckney Bay, a portion of the 11,000 acre aquatic preserve known as Estero Bay. We saw great blue herons, little blues, snowy egrets, great white egrets, tri-color herons, white ibis, ton's of fish and of course the bird of prey shown in the pics below, the Osprey (fish hawk).
It was the perfect kayaking day! We hit the water in peak low tide, with very little wind, no current to deal with and the sky was that wonderful South Florida blue that you can only find here!
Thank you William and Samantha for giving me an opportunity to introduce you to my back yard, Estero Bay, and for spending more time with us at Good Time Charters!
If you think this or any of your journeys with us were something that others may like to do please take a moment and see our link on the right side of this blog for "Trip Advisor - Good Time Charters" or "Trip Advisor - Everglades Adventures" and right some comments for others to use in making decisions on how they may spend their time while of their Florida Vacation!
Thanks again and be safe heading home!
Gator D is out on another adventure so bye for now!
