March 30, 2012 "SUP Shelling Fun!"

What a perfect day for a SUP (Stand Up Paddleboard) Shelling Adventure! It was calm, low 80's, sunny, and the group that went with me were super!

Not only was the paddling great, but the shelling was awsome! We saw tons of shells in huge quantities and species as well as some other "beach treasures" like egg casings from welks, sea hares, and a wide variety of birds!

Thank you Susan, Victoria and Dan for joining us this morning. I sure hope it met your expectations!

Please feel free to log into the link on the right side of this blog for "Trip Advisor - Goodtime Charters..." and share your experience with others!

It was my pleasure meeting you guys and I hope to see you for another adventure in the future!

Right now, Gator D must prepare for yet another adventure so I better bid you farewell and say SEE YOU LATER ALLIGATOR!

March 14, 2012 "Paddleboard Adventure!"

Paddleboarding is such a cool sport and one of the fastest growing sports in the world! Here in Southwest Florida we have some of the most spectacular areas in the United States to explore, including the calm waters of the shallow bays and the Gulf shorelines.

Good Time Charters offers paddleboarding tours with naturalists who can really open up a world of wonder while slowly gliding along the water in a paddleboard. No real skills are needed beyond modest balance, coordination and some endurance. It truly is a sport that all ages can participate in.

Today, I had the opportunity to take along 6 cool people from the "cold country" up north (Cape Cod)and explore the back bay waters and shorelines here in our area for a 2 hour shelling tour on paddleboards.

Thanks to Cassie, Sara, Paul, Andrew, Clay and Jason for joining me today for this great time in the fun and sun of Florida. I hope you had a good time and I hope you share this adventure with others.

The pics are not great but give you something to remember the journey by. I also added a couple of videos too.

If you would like to help others with their decision as to whether they would like to take this journey please log on to "Trip Advisor - Good Time Charters" (see link on the right of this blog) and share your thoughts about the trip.

Thank you once again for your business and I hope to see you again in the future!
