Well not everyday in southwest Florida is PERFECT, however, I will take it over snow and ice ANYDAY! Today, we had RAIN. Lot's of rain. And yet, we got our airboat and swampbuggy ride in.
I was shocked at how many horse flies was down there today. After spending DECADES in the glades, I must admit the amount of those pesky critters was overwhelming. Shelly did not hesitate to get our people out of the swamp after they were attacked by those blood suckers!
Good job Shelly!
It was actually a nice day with a great group of people. I had a great time. We saw tons of alligators and yet the birds were not out much and I suppose it was because of the weather.
I love the Everglades and am happy to be close by. I hope all of my guests got just a little of my passion today. I know it is harsh, buggy, desolate and dark on a rainy day, but, boy did the wildlife love it.
Thank you all for sharing this adventure with me. I believe this is the last one for me as far as Everglades Adventures go. I certainly will not stop coming here. I am a part of this place and it is a part of me.
Have a great stay here and come back to see us again. Share this blog with any and everyone you wish.
Gator D is tired and ready to turn in so SEE YOU LATER ALLIGATOR!
