January 29, 2013 "Fun with Friends!"

Tuesday was a down day for a bunch of us and it turned out to be a great! Dave and Tina invited us to head out onto the Gulf of Mexico on their 33 foot World Cat Tournament Fisher and what a great boat to explore the gulf. 

It was pretty calm when we left but on the way back we were met by pretty good head winds and 3 or 4 foot waves at times but that cat did the job and kept us safe and dry!

We fished awhile, played awhile at Woody's in St. James City, then fished more! Captain Mike did an outstanding job leading us to the fish and we came back with many keepers to be fried up for dinner!

I love days off and maybe this will be the last time we can all get together for a few weeks because our season is on the verge of sending us all into the WORK mode! AHHHHHH! Wish I could hit the lotto! We could do this EVERYDAY!
