Today's adventure took us into the big cypress trees of the Big Cypress Bend Boardwalk where we witnessed some incredible sites, including big orb spiders spinning their beautiful webs and prepare meals to eat, two pairs of bald eagles, alligators, turtles and a vast array of native plants that highlighted the humid environment with the colors of fall!
Yes folks FALL IN FLORIDA! It DOE'S happen here too!
The weather was absolutely spectacular, low humidity, light breezes from the east, plenty of sun and beautiful clouds in the south Florida sky!
I had four very nice people on board for this adventure today and boy did I luck out! Two of these folks were from Germany, and although they spoke some English, there certainly was some potential communications issues since I, being from Alabama, speak very poor English and NO German!
HOWEVER, the other two people on board were from Canada, and believe it or not, HE was origenally from Austria and could speak perfect German! HOLY COW BAT MAN! Gator D had a built in Interpreter! SO COOL!
So, all day long I spoke, he interpreted, everyone laughed and shared and what a great adventure it was!
Below you will find photographic proof of this glorious day and let me tell you I loved it all!
Thank you all for joining me and I sure hope that sometime in the future our paths cross again! Enjoy you trip home and may you have a wonderful world to return to!
Gator D is heading to the Pirate Fest this morning to enjoy some local lore and maybe even some Grog!
