It is always great to have a chance to take people I know to the Everglades and today was no exception as I shared this adventure with Jim, and his daughters Ashley and Laccie, and his son-in-law Adam and granddaughter Saeble.
We had a great day, the weather held, at least for the part of the day where we needed to be out doors, and although it was hot, the breezes were nice and the end of the day ended much cooler then the beginning because of the rain storms. We saw tons of gators, birds, turtles and other wildlife as we roamed the Everglades, and then, had a great opportunity to see more in a more tame environment with Rick and his animal friends.
As you can see in the pictures, snakes, turtles, spiders and lizards were part of our "close up and personal" experience, and we even got Saeble to hold a SNAKE! YAY! Couldn't convince her that the tarantula was OK, but hey, for a young lady who said she would NOT hold a snake at the beginning of the day, she braved a 13 foot python! Go figure!
This may be the largest post I have ever done but I could not decide on which pics and vids to NOT post so I just added a bunch of them! Hope they are OK and I hope you enjoy! Gator D is off today, so I am OUTTA HERE! Thanks Jim for bringing your clan along!
